How it rolls

Three ways to take the long way

  1. 01

    Blaze

No route, just drive. Your trail records itself and every hexagon you cross is claimed for your crew, or go solo.

  2. 02

    Journey

Plan it with your crew: tar, gravel or off-road. Laura finds the route, everyone gets turn-by-turn, and stops are put to a crew vote.

  3. 03

    Journal

Voice notes, photos and story pins at the summit. When the trip ends, Laura writes the story of it, in the third person.

Your co-pilot

Laura knows every pass

Warm, curious and full of stories. Ask her about the place you're driving through, a coffee stop, or a whole day trip for the car you're in. She speaks every turn, and the history of the road you're on. Prefer a dusty explorer? Pick Indy.

“Hey, I'm here. Where to?”

Territory

Every road you drive is crew ground

The country is a map of hexagons about 800 metres across. Drive through one and your crew holds it. Bigger crews can take ground from smaller ones, Forgotten Zones like Die Hel and Baviaanskloof are worth a fortune, and the leaderboards keep score by region, country and the world.

Your drives become routes

Every road you've driven is yours to follow again, offline. Take me home retraces the way you came.

Back on course

Go off route on a pass with no bars and Laura guides you back: “Head back to the route, 300 metres, on your left.”
